288 Sub-Inspector positions are open to applicants in the Punjab police recruiting drive. There are 144 positions available for Sub-Inspectors in the District Police Cadre (excluding sports) and 144 positions available for Sub-Inspectors in the Armed Police Cadre (excluding sportspersons).
Punjab Police recruitment 2023: Age limit
Candidates for the position must be between the ages of 18 and 28. Three stages will be used to choose the candidates for the position.
2023 recruitment for the Punjab Police: Selection procedure
- Three Computer Based Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type Papers will make up Stage I.
- Stage II will include a physical screening test (PST) and a physical measurement test (PMT). Physical measurement and screening tests must both be qualifying in nature.
- Document Scrutiny will be stage III’s major part.
