Thailand remains a highly popular travel destination for Indians, particularly among the younger generation. Remarkably, India has held its position as Bangkok’s fourth-largest source of tourism in the first ten months of this year.

Thailand is a top choice for Indian travelers, especially the younger generation, and India ranks as Bangkok’s fourth largest tourism source market for the first ten months of this year. Approximately 1.2 million Indian tourists visit Thailand, following Malaysia, China, and South Korea.
Last month, Thailand also waived visa requirements for Chinese tourists, acknowledging the vital role China plays in its tourism industry. However, concerns have arisen that the number of Chinese tourists may not meet the initial target of 5 million due to strict visa requirements, with approximately 1.4 million Chinese tourists arriving in the first six months of this year.
