The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the timetable for the practical exams for classes 10 and 12. The practical exam for classes 10 and 12 will begin on January 2, 2023, according to the CBSE’s most recent official announcement. The first week of January 2023 will see the start of the practical exams for classes 10 and 12, according to an official statement from the CBSE that was previously published on December 27, 2023.   • The last day to finish your practical exam, project, or internal assessment:  14 February 2023
  • Updating of Marks/Internal Grades will start from: 2 January 2023
  • The deadline for uploading grades and marks: 14 February 2023.

According to the number of students who have registered for the 2023 board examinations, the Central Board of Secondary Education has asked the schools to create a strategy and to promptly notify those students so they don’t miss the exams.

If a candidate doesn’t show up for the practical exams, the specific exam should be postponed within a certain time frame, according to the board’s official notification. All of the rules that the board has published are strongly advised to be read by the candidates.

What happens if a student misses the practical exam?

The board has stated that if a student skips the practical exam for the 2022–2023 session, they would be listed as “absent” on the online system. The student will not be considered absent if the practical exam has be rescheduled because they were missing on the exam day for any reason, even if it means a different time. Only those students will be allowed to retake practical exams at school if they were marked as Re-scheduled during the timeframes mentioned above.
