Akshay Kumar’s ‘Sooryavanshi’ has got the biggest opening ever in Hindi ever since theaters have reopened after the pandemic. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film earned Rs 26.11 crore on the first day. Interestingly, ‘Sooryavanshi’ was released on the occasion of Diwali. While there is no such festive atmosphere associated with ‘Brahmastra’. Not only this, before the pandemic, the record of highest advance booking is in the name of Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ (2.76 lakh tickets) and Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Sanju’ (2.95 lakh tickets).
