Effective November 1, oil companies have raised the prices of commercial LPG cylinders.
LPG price hike: The prices of commercial LPG cylinders have been increased by Rs 101.50 starting November 1. As per the new rates, a 19kg commercial LPG cylinder will be available for Rs 1,833 in the capital Delhi. In Mumbai, it will cost Rs 1,785.50, making it the cheapest among the four metros. On the other hand, in Chennai, it will be the most expensive, priced at Rs 1,999.50, and in Kolkata, it will sell for Rs 1,943.

The recent price increase of LPG cylinders applies solely to 19 kg commercial cylinders, with no impact on domestic LPG cylinder prices, which remain constant. In Delhi, the domestic LPG cylinder is priced at Rs 903, while in Kolkata, a 14 kg cylinder costs Rs 929. In Mumbai, the domestic LPG cylinder is priced at Rs 902.5, and in Chennai, it is being sold for Rs 918.5.
In October, oil companies had previously raised the prices of commercial LPG cylinders, with the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder costing Rs 1731.50 in Delhi. After the November increase, the rate has now risen to Rs 1833. Domestic cylinder prices remained unchanged last month.
In September, commercial LPG cylinders saw a reduction in prices, with oil marketing companies cutting the cost of a 19 kg commercial cylinder by Rs 157. In August, the prices of commercial LPG gas cylinders were reduced by Rs 100.
